Health Care in Federal Systems

چکیده

<p>How do multilevel health care systems evolve? Do they develop in a similar manner, or are their respective paths of evolution more sui generis? The aim this article is to compare the way which Canada and European Union have attempted coordinate policy between component jurisdictions over time. This argues that EU—despite its limited authority care—has been better able than greater capacity for addressing at supranational level, notwithstanding Canada’s federal involvement financing care. While experience EU supports theoretical premises neofunctionalism (that certain level integration will induce even other areas, especially response crisis), Canadian federalism does not fit paradigm. suggests applicability neofunctionalist theory across widely.</p>
